Nexonia attends Sage CFO 3.0 Panel Event in Toronto

Thank you to all who made it to the Sage CFO 3.0 event last month. We were thrilled to sponsor the event and meet with those who attended. For those who couldn’t make it, here’s a quick recap.

Making new connections

Sage CFO 3.0 gave our team ample opportunities to meet new finance leaders, as well as reconnect with others they knew. Our team included partner manager, Byron Wowchuk, and account executives Maria Carosi and Ralph Pillmoor. Held at the Royal Ontario Museum, it marked the first Sage event we attended in Toronto—and it certainly won’t be our last.

Insight through integration

Integration is a major aspect of our success. The event awarded our team a chance to get firsthand insight into the challenges CFOs face every day, and how we can help. Those conversations focused specifically on spend management and selecting an expense solution that integrates with Sage.

Topics during the panel discussion and Q&A sessions included:

  • Uncovering the gap between the perceptions and reality of digitizing the functions that power decision making
  • Exploring how the CFO’s role has evolved—from analyst of past performance to tomorrow’s visionary that can predict future business direction
  • Reviewing the merits of current and emerging technology, particularly cloud financial management solutions

The current landscape may keep us from meeting in person for a while, but we’re already looking forward to connecting again as the travel climate normalize. We love every chance we get to meet existing or potentially new customers. Doing so helps us connect with how finance team members think, and what they need from the solutions they use every single day.
