Highlights from SuiteWorld19

We had an amazing time at SuiteWorld19 in Las Vegas. The attendees, keynote speeches, and incredible sessions left us completely awestruck—and inspired.

Attended by over 8,000 people, SuiteWorld is the premiere event for NetSuite users and partners. The theme this year was “Grow Beyond,” and the knowledge shared during the event did not disappoint.

New Products and Capabilities

NetSuite unveiled a plethora of new products this year that aim to make your life easier. One major addition was SuiteSuccess for Planning and Budgeting Cloud Services. The service provides NetSuite customers with a guided implementation with industry-specific best practices built in—completed in as little as 30 days.

Also unveiled at SuiteWorld19 were new capabilities for global companies to manage their finances. Now they can streamline currency and trade management activities with new localizations to support customers in other countries—something global companies need to thrive.

Another highlight was announcing Brainyard, a dedicated business research and benchmarking service built for accountants. Brainyard provides research, benchmark data, performance analysis, and expert advice to help organizations grow faster gleaned from their more than 20 years of cloud-based data.

Our NetSuite Integration

We’ve always shared a tight integration with NetSuite—it’s part of our promise to have the most highly-configurable integrations in the T&E world. And that’s why we were thrilled to have such an engaged group of NetSuite customers and partners to share our solution with.

Our NetSuite integration can export data in two ways via NetSuite’s powerful API. The first option is where we export your data as Expense Reports directly into NetSuite, to maintain a single source of truth for accounting. The second data export option is through Bills, making it truly easy to pay vendors or reimburse employees.

The integration is extremely robust, supporting both the standard five NetSuite segments and custom fields. Even credit card data is sent to your instance of NetSuite, making reconciliation a breeze and giving finance better visibility into travel and expense.
